Fall Premieres

I don't really consider myself a big "TV watcher," but man there seems to be a lot of things coming up that are going to see me sitting my bum in front of the TV. Here's what I look forward to watching ... how about you?

Sons of Anarchy - Season 6 - Tues, Sept 10
Legend of Korra - Season 2 -  Fri, Sept 13
How I Met Your Mother - Season 9 - Mon, Sept 23
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Season 1 - Tue, Sept 24
Arrow - Season 2 - Wed, Oct 9
Walking Dead - Season 4 - Sun, Oct 13
Lost Girl - Season 4 - Sun, Nov 10
Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special - Sat, Nov 23
Doctor Who Christmas Special 2013 - Wed, Dec 25

Not sure on the Christmas Special date. It usually broadcasts on or around Christmas, but I don't think an exact date has actually been announced.

Let me know what you're looking forward to this fall season.

Regards,

Jeff

  1. Have you caught any episodes of Axe Cop?

As for the fall, Fox is jumping on the Supernatural bandwagon with Sleepy Hollow.

Are you going to see The End of the World?

  2. I am unfamiliar with everything you just asked me about. Time to hit Google and find some more stuff to watch ... thanks for the heads up!

  3. The End of the World completes the 'blood and ice cream' trilogy formed by it and Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

While you're there check out The Grandmaster, a highly fictionalized account of the life of the man who taught Bruce Lee Wing Chun.

Sleepy Hollow is Fox's venture into the pale imitation of Supernatural shows; being that SN is a pale imitation of itself the whole thing seems redundant.

NBC has Grimm and ABC has Once Upon a Time.

Axe Cop is supposedly written by a five year old. I think the 15 minute episodes stream on Fox's Animation Domination website.

  4. Went to see "The World's End" this weekend. I thought it was pretty cool!

  5. As for the above list, Walking Dead is the only one I'm looking forward to.

Legend of Korra is a strong maybe; Avatar set a high bar for any follow up

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,,. Will it survive the transfer to the small screen and a serial format?

Arrow - iffy around mid-season. I hate the flashbacks.

    Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special
    Doctor Who Christmas Special 2013

My regular supply of Who recently was married.
